Good Evening Lemon Sharks Swim Parents!

This Tuesday is our first away swim meet at Haddon Hall.

The address is: 1101 Haywards Heath Lane, Apex 27502.

This is a subdivision pool so parking is at a premium. Parking is NOT allowed on the lake side of the street that has NO PARKING signs, cars WILL be ticketed. Please leave the appropriate space around stop signs & fire hydrants and please do not block driveways.

The seating area for our team will be on the parking lot side of the pool deck. There is NO SHADE so I'm asking parents to please bring any pop-up tents you may have! Please also bring chairs, blankets, sunscreen, etc. to keep swimmers and parents comfortable.

Our warmups will start promptly at 5:30pm. We ask our swimmers to arrive by 5:15pm so that our coaches can check them in, and confirm relays, before warmups begin. A table will be setup on the pool deck where coaches will be checking in swimmers and a volunteer coordinator will be checking in parent volunteers. THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR AWESOME PARENT VOLUNTEERS!!!!!

There is a concession stand at this meet that that will have food, snacks and drinks for sale.

DUE TO THE EXPECTED WARM TEMPERATURES FORECASTED FOR THIS TUESDAY, WE ASK PARENTS TO PLEASE PACK COLD DRINKS AND SNACKS FOR BOTH THEIR SWIMMERS AND THEMSELVES!!!

Many of you have already signed up to help (thank you!) but we still have a few more roles we need filled:

• Assistant Clerk of Course - We need (1) person to help line up all of our swimmers for their events/heats. You will be working with the Clerk of Course. Great spot to give one last encouraging fist-bump/high-fives (and goggle reminders) to our swimmers before they step on the blocks.
• We would like (2) floaters to help give timers a break from the sun & heat.
• Ribbon Writer - Work with the host team to create ribbons during the meet, which will be handed over to the Lifetime Coaches at the end of the meet. This is a perfect job for someone who doesn't mind sitting for most of the meet.
• Runner - We need (1) runner who will bring DQ slips from the stroke judge, and heat winner paperwork from the Order of Finish Judge, to the Scorer stand. This position will place you near the Stroke & Turn judge, for good viewing options.

Lastly, no U-6 Swimmers are scheduled to do relays at this time so our U-6 families can depart after their swimmer completes breaststroke. Please confirm with the coaches at check-in.
